The Kremlin on Wednesday rejected U.S. President Joe Biden’s statement calling Russia’s actions in Ukraine genocide. It comes after evidence emerged of rape, torture, and killings of civilians in areas around Kyiv, including the town of Bucha, following the withdrawal of Russian troops. The Russian President this week said the footage from Bucha was fake. But what does constitute genocide and how can it be proven?
