Many young people try vaping, thinking it is harmless. But although e-cigarettes are often marketed as a device to help quit smoking, the amount of nicotine remains about the same.
“My advice as well the health community is really ‘If you do not smoke, don’t start vaping,'” says Michael Wilson, smoking cessation coordinator of Scarborough Health Network.
