Health Secretary Victoria Atkins recently said every MP should be concerned that the NHS has been captured by ideology, as she gave a statement on the Cass Review. She criticised her shadow counterpart for contributing to a toxic debate on gender identity but stopped short of committing to a public inquiry into the ideological capture of public institutions.
