The European Union is launching a World Trade Organization case against China for what it calls “discriminatory trade practices” against Lithuania. The EU says China has used coercive measures after Beijing blocked goods not only from the Baltic state but also from companies in other EU countries that use Lithuanian components. This comes after Lithuania deepened ties with Taiwan.
