EU, China at Odds Over Ukraine at Summit

The Chinese premier told EU leaders during a virtual summit that Beijing would push for peace in “its own way” in Ukraine. The EU has raised the possibility of penalties against Chinese companies that undermine measures taken against Russia. But both sides agreed that the war in Ukraine was threatening global security and the world economy.
