New epic movie “Alpha” shows an incredible survival story that takes place during the last Ice Age 20,000 years ago.

The action and adventure movie includes visually stunning scenes of beautiful Mother Nature.

“When there is no more leader to follow, you must become one,” the young main character said in the movie.

Unfortunately, he fell off a cliff and became separated from his tribe in the wilderness.

The young man needs to find his way home before winter arrives. He has to be brave, fix his injured ankle, make different tools, find foods, and face countless dangers alone.

Meanwhile, he meets an injured wolf, abandoned by its pack. The two become friends and allies during the journey.

Directed by Albert Hughes with Columbia Pictures, a Sony Company, the film is rated PG-13 and will be released on Aug.17 with IMAX and 3D versions available.
