Duncan Smith on Stopping Trade With China: ‘The UK Needs to Lead’

A former Tory leader says the government is making a mistake by blocking a genocide amendment to the UK’s post-Brexit trade bill. If passed, the amendment could stop bilateral trade with genocidal countries, such as China, which has been accused of committing genocide in Xinjiang.

NTD spoke with Sir Iain Duncan Smith, one of the main proponents in the Commons for the amendment, about why it’s important.
