The team of volunteer divers who found the body of missing teenager Kiely Rodni in a Northern California reservoir did so in just over half an hour.

Adventures With Purpose found her remains in the Prosser Creek Reservoir on Sunday not far from where the teen was last seen in the early hours of Aug. 6, reported USA TODAY.

While the authorities previously sent in at least three dive teams to the scene, the team members of Adventures With Purpose discovered her body after 35 minutes of searching the reservoir, said a New York Post report.

The divers located the car the 16-year-old was driving and her remains roughly 20 to 40 feet away from the water’s edge, near a section of the Prosser Family Campground where she had been at a party, the report said.

The vehicle her body was in—a silver 2013 Honda CR-V—was under 14 feet of water, reported USA TODAY.

The elite team from Adventures With Purpose have solved 23 other cold cases.

Medical examiners later confirmed that the body was Rodni’s after performing an autopsy on Tuesday.

“Today, an autopsy was conducted on the deceased individual who was found in the Prosser Reservoir on Sunday, August 21st. The Nevada County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the decedent as 16-year-old Kiely Rodni, of Truckee,” said the Placer County Sheriff’s Office via Facebook.

“The Placer County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office are in communication with Kiely’s family and offer our deepest condolences to them during this extremely difficult time.”

The cause of the incident has not yet been confirmed by police who are continuing with their investigations.

Rodni’s disappearance was originally investigated as a potential kidnapping, and an 80-mile radius sweep of Tahoe National Forest was conducted.

Rodni’s family said on Monday they are “eternally grateful for the love and support” from others.

“Mr Rogers famously told a story of ‘looking for the helpers’ whenever he saw scary things in the news,” said the family in a statement. “We have not had to look for the helpers, as you have all come to our rescue in full force.”
