The U.S. economy is durable, but the unprecedented lockdowns that came following the outbreak of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus have presented new challenges. This, combined with record spending and other challenges throughout the world, has put the United States’ economy in a volatile state. NTD spoke with Desmond Lachman, former deputy director of the International Monetary Fund’s policy development and review department. He is currently a senior fellow at American Enterprise Institute.
