The daughter of country singer Hank Williams Jr. died in a car crash in Tennessee, according to multiple reports.

The single-vehicle car crash happened on Saturday night in Henry County, reported by WKRN.

Katherine Williams-Dunning, 27, was driving an SUV, a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, southbound on Highway 79 when the crash happened. According to Fox News, the SUV Williams-Dunning was driving was towing a boat, and at around 7:45 p.m., the vehicle swerved across the median and rolled over before coming to a stop on the shoulder of the road, according to WKRN.

Williams-Dunning was killed in the crash, according to the authorities, while her husband, 29-year-old Tyler Dunning, who was in the vehicle, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Hospital.

Dunning’s condition has not been released as of yet.

Sam Williams, Williams-Dunning’s brother, took to his social media to ask for prayers for his sister and brother-in-law.

“My sister and brother in law have been in a terrible accident. Please pray for them so hard! Katie Williams and Ryler Dunning,” he wrote.

The cause of the crash is not known and the incident is under investigation, according to Lt. Brad Wilbanks, a Tennessee highway patrol spokesperson.

“This is an active investigation and more details will be made available later,” Wilbanks told The Paris Post-Intelligencer.

Williams-Dunning is the daughter of Hank Williams Jr., a country singer known for rewriting the theme song for “Monday Night Football” and the song “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.”

Williams-Dunning was also the granddaughter of Hank Williams, an iconic figure in the world of country music. Williams wrote several popular songs before his death in 1953 at the age of 29, according to Fox News.
