U.S. travelers to China may soon face a tough scenario: There are likely to be no flights between the two countries starting next week.

According to CNN Business, China’s aviation regulators have canceled or suspended all flights from the United States to China, beginning Jan. 19, and this will continue for at least two weeks.

The move comes just ahead of the Winter Olympics, with Beijing anxious to keep virus infections at bay.

Games participants will mostly take special flights.
