Chinese Space Program Falls Short Again

On May 5, Chinese officials announced the successful launch of their largest carrier rocket. It’s The Long March-5B, from the southern province of Hainan.

One day later, state-run media Xinhua said the Rocket’s core ran into a problem while returning to earth.

The defense department confirmed on May 11, the rocket fell out of the sky, reentering the atmosphere uncontrolled over the Atlantic ocean.
