China in Focus (May 20): UN Hands Activist Names to China, Whistleblower Says

Troubling scenes in northeastern China have many concerned about a second virus outbreak. In one high risk area, residents are not even allowed outside.

A 20-year-old Australian student is facing expulsion from a local university for criticizing the Chinese regime.

A whistleblower is calling for an investigation into the United Nations. She accuses the U.N. of handing over the names of human rights activists in China to the Chinese regime.

Taiwan’s president Tsai Ing-wen has been sworn in for her second and final term today. She said Taiwan couldn’t accept becoming part of China under its “one country, two systems” offer.
