China in Focus (April 1): New Lockdown Imposed in China Over CCP Virus

Chinese authorities locked down a county in Henan Province starting from April 1—the first time Chinese officials placed an area under quarantine after the regime announced that lockdowns would be lifted nationwide.

After pressure from inside and outside China, the regime has now begun publishing cases of asymptomatic CCP virus patients. But those cases still won’t be included in the country’s confirmed count. This helps keep its number of infections artificially low.

As people in China slowly get back to work, questions remain whether the country’s economy will quickly bounce back.

How is the Chinese regime pushing its propaganda narrative, twisting a research paper published by U.S. scientists to claim that the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as novel coronavirus, is not from Wuhan. And is the outbreak really under control?

A Shanghai resident told us he thinks the Chinese regime is the real virus in the country.

And in the United States, the CCP virus’s death toll exceeds 4,000, with many of those in New York. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announces that he plans to do more to stem the spread of the virus.
