For the first time in recent history, Canada’s spy agency is warning its politicians against becoming a target of China’s influence operations.
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service says it’s concerned about China’s effort to cultivate relations with elected officials. It says the regime wants to have leverage over parliamentary debates and government decision-making.
