California wildfires have forced tens of thousands of people from their homes in the past week.

While the Chico area, north of Sacramento, was beset by the destructive Camp Fire, the Los Angeles area was afflicted with a pair of out-of-control blazes—the Hill and Woolsey fires.

These two fires have affected people across every economic spectrum, including the most wealthy and famous.

Actors and entertainers like Lady Gaga, Orlando Bloom, Alyssa Milano, and some of the Kardashians have been forced to evacuate as the flames crept closer to their neighborhoods.

Lady Gaga had to leave her Malibu mansion on Nov. 9. As she abandoned her home, she tweeted her sympathy for all the people suffering because of the fires, Today reported.

“I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires & grieving the loss of their homes or loved ones,” she posted.

“I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames. All we can do is pray together & for each other. God Bless You.”

The singer also expressed her appreciation for the fire fighters risking their lives trying to contain the flames.

“Thank you to the fire fighters, police, first and emergency responders for doing above and beyond everything you can do to help us. You are true heroes. #CaliforniaFire,” she tweeted.

Fellow Malibu resident Orlando Bloom posted pictures of the approaching fires on his Instagram account, saying he was praying for the safety of his Malibu family and also for the safety of “our brave fire fighters.”

Meanwhile, singer Robin Thicke and girlfriend April Love Geary posted photos of an enormous cloud of dense smoke looming over their neighborhood.

“Our house is somewhere in there,” Geary said about the photo.

“I’m so sad but so thankful that we all made it out safe. Praying for everyone in Malibu, our city is up in flames.”

Actresses Denise Richards and Alyssa Milano both had to evacuate their animals.

Richards spent hours evacuating herself, her husband Aaron Phypers, and her “furry children.”

“So emotional seeing the devastating loss of homes, families & animals,” Richards posted.

Alyssa Milano had to evacuate her five horses on Nov. 9. She turned to Twitter, calling for volunteers.

Later that day Milano told her Twitter followers that the horses were safe, although her home was at risk.

“Horses are finally safe. My children are safe. My home is in jeopardy but… everything with a heartbeat is safe.”

She added, on Nov. 10, “I’m so sorry and my heart is with each of those who are impacted by this awful disaster.”

Khloe and Kim Kardashian were both forced to evacuate their homes in Calabasas and Hidden Hills, respectively.

Despite the chance of losing her home, Kim Kardashian posted a picture of herself with Khloe’s daughter, True, saying, “We are all safe and that’s all that matters.”

The Hill and Woolsey fires had scorched more than 90,000 acres as of Nov. 12, and neither fire was yet completely contained.
