Student loan servicer company Navient reached a settlement with 39 states. The allegations were over misleading students during student loan debt repayment processes. Navient has agreed to pay $1.7 billion in student loan cancellations.

Some Californians are split when it comes to the state’s solar energy metering system. The solar energy industry may shift if this new proposal is adopted.

The California Department of Motor Vehicles told Tesla it will come under review. The DMV may change its previous decision to not require the car company to submit self-driving data to the agency.
