While doctors have emphasized the health benefits of walking for a long time, there is now a fresh emphasis on intensity, highlighting that both duration and speed are crucial. Researchers examined studies conducted from 1990 to 2022, focusing on the link between walking pace and the development of type 2 diabetes in adults. Their findings indicate that faster walking speeds are associated with a lower risk of developing diabetes.
