Indonesia and Malaysia are expressing concerns over AUKUS’s nuclear submarine plan.

Australia decided to acquire nuclear-powered submarines, even though nuclear weapons were not included in the AUKUS deal.

AUKUS is a trilateral security pact between Australia, the United States, and the UK, signed in September. It’s seen as an effort to counter China.
