Who should be able to control the content of your speech? Here in America, should artists be protected by the First Amendment? Is it ever appropriate for the government to decide what you say? Lorie Smith, a small-business owner in Colorado, had to confront these questions after she encountered a state law that says it can force her to communicate certain messages in her work, against her will. She is now challenging that law with the Alliance Defending Freedom. NTD spoke with Smith and her attorney Jake Warner to learn more.
