Archie Battersbee: Family Lose Latest Appeal

The family of 12-year-old Archie Battersbee have lost a bid to block the withdrawal of his life-sustaining treatment after they filed an urgent appeal to the Supreme Court Tuesday. Archie was found unconscious in April at his home in Southend after an accident. His mother believes he could have been taking part in an online challenge. He’s never regained consciousness and has a ventilator keeping him alive.
