Andy Ngo, independent investigative journalist and author of “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan To Destroy Democracy,” discusses the renewed riots across America in the wake of Daunte Wright’s death.
He says Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists were already primed for violence given the highly charged murder trial of former police officer Derek Chauven, over the in-custody death of George Floyd. Then, 10 miles from the Minnesota courtroom, an officer shot and killed another black man, 20-year-old Wright. From the police bodycam footage, it seems now ex-officer Kim Potter accidentally discharged her gun instead of her taser. Black Lives Matter and Antifa demonstrators poured into the streets and cities across the country have seen nights of arson, looting, and violent clashes with police.
Ngo gives us his perspective predicting that the violence will only get worse.
