Police say five people were killed in separate shootings in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
No suspects have been taken into custody in the shootings, which happened on the night of Sept. 12.
Six people were wounded in the three incidents.
Shortly after 9 p.m., Albuquerque police officers responded to a call of shots fired at 1028 Lura Place in the southwest of the city.
Three people were found dead, a fourth died at the hospital and two others were wounded.

Police said one of the wounded drove to a nearby Walmart, where they made contact and transported the victim to the hospital.
Rio Volcan Apartment Shooting
Earlier that evening at 8:44 p.m., officers received a report of gunfire at the Rio Volcan Apartments at 1919 Ladera in the east of the city.
Police arrived at the scene to find four people with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims succumbed of their injuries at the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH). Three others were treated for their injuries. One is listed in serious condition.
“Both the subject that drove themselves to the Walmart and the subject that was at 1919 Ladera have both been transported to the hospital and their condition is unknown,” The Albuquerque Police Department said on Twitter.
Police said the case is under investigation and has been deemed a violent crimes call out.

Man Found With Gunshot Wound in the Neck
Earlier, at 7:27 p.m., officers were called to an apartment on Carlisle Boulevard to the northwest of the city center and found a man who was shot in the neck after confronting a couple who had broken into a neighbor’s apartment and stolen a purse by force.
The Albuquerque Police Department said on Twitter that the victim was transported to the hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
