Six Chinese coast guard officers briefly boarded a Taiwanese tourist boat on Monday near Kin-men and conducted a series of checks.
In the waters surrounding Kin-men—a group of islands controlled by Taiwan—many speculate that the recent back-and-force in the region could be a focal point of the future conflicts between China and Taiwan.
