2024 Olympics: Track and Field Winners Get $50,000 Prize

The Olympic gold medal winners—in both men’s and women’s track and field events this summer—will get a $50,000 cash prize. This is the first time Olympic athletes will get cash prizes, and the amounts will extend to silver and bronze winners for the 2028 Games.
