Two Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screeners at the JFK Airport and one at Newark International Airport (EWR) have tested positive last week on the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, or novel coronavirus.
NTD refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Party’s coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.
The two employees at JFK worked at the checked baggage rooms at terminal four and terminal five, respectively, NY1 reported.
The TSA referred to its website through its Twitter account for more information, stating it “has a new #COVID19 webpage with answers to FAQs about security screening at checkpoints during the pandemic.”

The two baggage screeners at JFK were said to be sisters. They were diagnosed on March 12, and 13 respectively, which also marked their last day at work.
The outlet also indicates that a morning shift supervisor is currently under quarantine after showing symptoms related to COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP virus, after the night shift crew was sent home to sanitize the workplaces.
3 TSA Officers at SJC Test Positive for CCP Virus
Three Transport Security Administration agents have tested positive for the coronavirus at Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), the agency reported on Twitter on March 10.
“The officers are receiving medical care, and all TSA employees they have come in contact with over the past 14 days are quarantined at home,” the TSA said in a statement, The Los Angeles Times reported.
“Screening checkpoints remain open, and the agency is working with the CDC, as well as the California Department of Public Health and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, to monitor the situation as well as the health and safety of our employees and the traveling public,” it said.
The airport also announced on Twitter, assuring, “the safety & health of our employees and the traveling public are #1.
“We continue to monitor with concern the evolving outbreak of COVID-19. The health and safety of TSA officers remains my number one priority,” TSA Administrator David Pekoske wrote on Twitter. “We are working with local health officials to take containment steps for employees and passengers.”
