On Tuesday, Chinese leader Xi Jinping sat down with French President Emmanuel Macron for lunch before leaving for his next stop: Serbia. According to Beijing’s state-run media, Xi and Mr. Macron called for a political settlement on the Iranian nuclear issue. The media also stated that on the Israel–Hamas War, they had called for a ceasefire in Gaza and a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine. It should be noted that China’s communist regime doesn’t consider Hamas to be a terrorist organization. The regime has even pushed for a Palestinian state to become a member of the United Nations.
